arffff...
Hello,

After the upgrade of WindowBlinds build 5.49s beta to 5.50.017 via Stardock Central, the build number is 5.1. Before the update: 5.49s beta.

I try this tip: «I would suggest changing download servers under Tools->Settings and in the Internet Section. You might also want to 'Refresh XML Data' as well.»

Same problem.

But, WindowBlinds show me via "System Information": WindowBlinds 5.1.

I'm really disappointed!!!!

Thanx in advance

Whew! that sucked! I hadn't seen classic on my machine since the first WB5 betas.

Neil, just so you know, the "History" (change log) comes up with 5.1 info and nothing newer than that.

Just a question since I alwasy anoy the hack out of everyone on here anyway.

Why can't you guys just test stuff out before you release it? Or better yet, why can't you just get it right the first time?!?!>!!>

Right above is a valid example of things not working right. Your forms don't even work right!!! Large text overlaps because the spacing is wrong. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Admin edit to remove huge text.  Please add this to the Forum bug post.  Using huge text there as an example would be acceptable.]

When is this going to be fixed?!?!?!?!?!?! Make some calls Neil! If I were you I'd be ranting and raging through the office. I'd make the idiot that made this mistake beg for his life...

*note*
The above is a joke for those of you who can't read "Sarcasm".

Wow, some people just need to chill out. Here's a thought, it's the weekend, take the next couple of days and step back away from the computer. Get some quality time away from the keyboard.

Sorry about that.

Hello, no problem. Thanx for the reply.
I just clicked on "Rebuild List" in WindowBlinds configuration screen and "ALL" blinds I had were back.

Hello, tested on two computers and don't work. All theme folders are empty.
We know about the problem, we're looking into correcting it.

Hello, thanx for the reply. wB 5.1 final is always unavailable. Stardock Central offer this version: wB 5.5.x.x final.

Sorry, I don't have chance to go outside. My job is to work the day, in the evening and the weekend in front of the computer. So, please... keep your opinion for you!

While we are at it : If LogonStudio Vista installed one is also offered an Update for LogonStudio XP.

...and LogonStudio XP is invalid package: Installation error under Windows XP. Same problems with SoundPackager, NeverTrust and BootSkin.

Same problems with SoundPackager, NeverTrust and BootSkin.

Soundpackager - it's been stated that it's coming.  I'd rather Stardock get their existing app Vista ready before new apps (of questionable value, it's an unknown)

NeverTrust - supplanted by Windows SP2 I think, no market value

Bootskin - a nightmare to support because BIOS makers are inconsistant

What's your complaint again?  You subscribed (I assume) to ODNT knowing that you get updates and maybe new apps.  Where were you promised free ice-cream too?

I think that overall and in most situations Stardock apps, support, and systems have been great.  Your experiance might be different, that's too bad.  I hope it gets better.  But being negative doesn't engender the desire to assist.

Finally, this problem is gone:
Hello,

Uninstalled wrong build and installed wB 5.49t directly. After that, all my themes (cyclops, 5imple, buufos,... all new themes included for Vista build) are disappeared (empty folders)! Impossible to reinstall because wB 5.49t flush these themes under Windows XP after the installation via Stardock Central. Also, impossible to install wB 5.1x because Stardock Central show me only wB 5.50.017 or wB 5.49t RC1.

Thanx.

Is this fixed yet on SDC servers or not? I'm getting tired of installing and uninstalling.

Darken,

I didn't realize I was not being polite.  Aplogies for any misunderstanding.

What services are not working for you?  The soundpackager you see should not be seen, you've got a bug but not one that is negativly impating you.  Same with NeverTrust.  And I am not sure what version of Logon Studio you are trying to install (or what you have installed) but I'm sure it'll be sorted out soon.

I've discovered a problem - the last two builds of Windowblinds downloaded using Stardock C, have had problems applying a new windowblind.

When I click on a new windowblind, and apply - the blur screen appears and locks up my system, "every time."
