So from now on, when making free iconpackages, do (12) or less "File Icons" and make them all the same.
OK. Got it. Thanks.....This will speed things up in the the future.

I think he was talking about AlienGUIse. My niece had to do a complete recovery to get it out of her Vista laptop. It was a real train wreck. She made no restore points or back-ups so she lost everything....kids!

12 best icons are better than 100 second grade icons.
invader icons are best to date. love it.

Yeah but many file icons are left with the default which doesnt even match at all. They could at least have added mp3 file formats.

Well, downloaded & extracted to use with WB, but can only apply the "default" Vista theme from it.

Can't apply the Performance one & can't even view any of the files. They all look like "static" when trying to check them out with an image viewer.

You need Mycolors or the theme manager installed because the WB is encrypted.

I've got that installed as well, but still can't view the images & also can't apply anything other than the Vista default skin for some reason.

Since I can't seem to edit my post:

The reason I want to use the substyles or access the skin properties is because I use double height taskbars & most themes don't account for that. This one is no exception. The system tray is taking up too much real estate because it's only putting the icons into two rows instead of three...

Guys,i have installed this one on XP,but although it is in the WB 6 list of skins,it doesnt want to apply it self...
MyColors is installed but it doesnt want to apply the theme either...

How can i extract these fantastic icons from this???I cant seem to apply them in Icon Packager...

Is there a catch to make it work on XP???

MindMaestro : I responded to the private message you sent me about this. Check that message and see if it helps.

You are referring to this exact theme(invader MyColors),or the Xenomorph Slim???You know that there's two download files,AlienGuise for XP and Vista on their web site...Perhaps there's something incompatible on my PC,cos this is an installation for Vista...

I installed MyColors in the ThemeManager\Themes folder, but i can not individually install the files,as there's nothing visible...
The "Themes"folder in MyColors is empty, peculiar stuff...

Just throw that silly installer to recycle bin, the only thing it succeed to do was to crash completly my PC ...
on Jun 04, 2008
Wow,is it that buggy???
on Jun 04, 2008
Well if he listed to the instructions by Darken on page 1 he could have found that he didn't need to install anything.
And yes its a bit buggy if you already have MyColors installed since it's an alternate theme manager it seems to want to overwrite it.
